Tasks: They collaborate with frontend developers to design APIs that facilitate communication between the frontend and backend systems. They also optimize server performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
Skills: Proficiency in server-side programming languages like Python, Ruby, PHP, or Node.js is necessary, along with knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. Familiarity with web frameworks like Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, or Express.js is also beneficial.
