Project Overview
I am a travel vlogger filming high-quality cinematic adventures (4K footage). I travel to unique locations (currently in Asia/Europe...), but my heart and my audience are in Morocco. I need an editor who can translate my raw adventures into engaging, high-retention vlogs for a Moroccan audience.
What I am Looking For
Native Darija Speaker: This is a must. You need to understand my humor, cultural references, and "Tamaghrabit" (Moroccan-ness) to highlight the best moments.
Storytelling First: You should know how to build a narrative—not just a montage. I want the viewer to feel like they are traveling with me.
Modern Aesthetic: Experience with fast-paced editing, "Shorts" optimization, and clean, modern typography.
Technical Skill: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut. Ability to work with 4K footage and basic color grading.
Scope of Work
Long-form Vlogs: 2–3 videos per month (10–15 minutes each).
YouTube Shorts: 3 high-energy Shorts per week (extracted from the long-form footage).
Subtitles: Creating engaging, stylized captions in Darija or English where necessary.
Sound Design: Using Moroccan-inspired halal track and/or trending sounds that resonate with our culture or jokes (not inclusive of any bad desrespectful language).
The Footage You'll Work With
Stabilized 4K footage and crystal-clear audio. I "shoot for the edit," meaning I provide plenty of B-roll and clear talking points.
